Our Faith Renewed

faithvaughn

Faith Mackenzie Vaughn was born Thursday, May 19th at 11:13am. She was 5 pounds, 5.4 oz, with brown hair. She looked just like her brother and sister. Her Daddy was the first to hold her, then he shared her with her Momma, where she was loved, cuddled and kissed endlessly. She passed away at 11:55 am in the arms of her Momma. Though her life here on earth was only 42 minutes long, the impact she has made will last a lifetime. I couldn't be more proud to be Faith's Mommy. Though we are sad, we do know that she is in the arms of Jesus. She has been made whole and perfect, and our Faith has been renewed.

Please continue to pray for our family, especially Cade. He has had a hard time. He did get to hold his baby sister, and he was so proud of her.

Faith's Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 24th at North Central Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 9:00 am, with the service at 10:00 am. Graveside will follow at Newnansville Cemetary in Alachua. Everyone is invited to the O'Steen home for a time of food and fellowship afterwards.

Thank you to everyone for the prayers, the comments and emails. They have been so encouraging. We are so blessed by all of you who have walked this journey with us.

Faith is just beautiful, and I see so much of SaraGrace in her. I rejoice in knowing that she was able to experience your love and kisses before she left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father. My continued prayers are with you and the rest of the family, especially Cade, during this journey of healing. You continue to inspire me, SaraBeth.

Faith is one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen. May her life continue to have the tremendous impact it already has. You are all in our prayers, especially Cade.

I cannot imagine how it must have felt to hand your baby over to Jesus. You, Rob and your entire families have shown us what it means to put EVERYTHING in His hands. I have prayed for you guys everyday since I heard your news but it has also made me pray harder for those who don't know God. I don't know how people who don't have Him to lean on make it through tough times such as this. Your STRONG Faith is unmeasurable and your BABY Faith is absolutely beautiful. Theenie

SaraBeth, you have no idea how much your story has touched my life. I was praying and crying along with my co-workers on Thursday morning. You put your journey out there for us to learn from. You are a true inspiration - your whole family. I am blessed to have known you a very long time. You have changed my faith and I am not walking a little closer to Jesus just because of you and your family. Ryan and I will continue to pray for you. Thank you so much.

This morning God lead me to your blog. I don't know you and never heard of you until today. I spent 2 hours reading your story. Thank you for sharing this special time in your life. I have witnessed and been blessed with wonderful miracles from our Heavenly Father having experienced something very similar 22 years ago. I feel certain Faith is the newest member of special band of angels. I hope you continue to share your story and find strength and love in knowing God has yet again taken each of you in His loving arms. Words are just not enough to express the impact Faith will have on so many. Your beautiful family is in my prayers.

SaraBeth, I have read your blog over the past few years with laughter that brought me to tears, and then sadness in my heart that made me ache for you. I tell your grandmother all the time that you are an extrordinary woman, and that you have set such an example of faith in your Lord and what wonders he can do! You, Rob & your family will continue to be in my prayers, through your example...you have made me want to be a better person :)
